You wake up one day and realize things aren't as they seem. You're in an alternate timeline or universe different from your own, but almost exactly the same for the most part. What's the one definitive thing in society, pop culture, politics, or your own life, that tips you off that you're not home?
My Alternate Reality: McDonald's, as well as all other fast food burger chains, no longer serve hamburgers and French fries, and instead serve chicken sandwiches and onion rings. Burgers still exist, but are quite rare at fast food chains and French fries are no longer known among people, at all. Also, instead of Coca Cola or Pepsi, their beverages are only Fanta sodas.
Second Alternate Reality: In the 90s, Nintendo successfully joined forces with Sony to make a version of the Super Nintendo that uses CD Roms. It was wildly successful and the highest selling game console of all time, leading to the release of the 1996 follow-up called the Ultra Nintendo, leading to a successful partnership with Sony that's lasted for over 30 years. The console launched with popular launch-title Avril Lavigne's Pro Skater. They've also released the Nintendo Dolphin, the handheld Game Boy Nova with 64 bit graphics, the Nintendo 360, the Nintendo 720, and finally the current console-handheld hybrid, the Nintendo NX.
