This is Tomasz Komanda. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder and rape of a 15-year-old girl returning from a party in Milocyz, Poland. He was found guilty of a crime he did not commit. After 18 years, someone noticed the error in the case and decided to let him go.

After an 18-year wait!! Just think about it. Being convicted of a crime you did not commit. You serve 18 years in prison and pay for someone else's heinous crimes.

This reminds me of the Melissa Lucio. She’s on death row for the murder of her young daughter even though all the evidence points to her being innocent.


The police interrogation of her was awful. It was obvious they were trying to get a confession out of her

Holy crap... Wow.. Is the innocence project doing anything for her? nm answered my own question, it looks like her execution has been canceled. Wtf is wrong with those police though.. Rights violations all around.. Im glad the innocence project did something for her.
