It depends on what is actually wrong I have found animals like this before and nurtures them back to health I have taken dogs an owl to the vets to be repaired just like I have taken people to the hospital. After I beat him up
I was taking my ex girl friend home she was my girl friend at the time . As we pull up to ber house we could hear her roommate screaming run in to the house and her boyfriend was beating her up I pulled him off of her and he started swinging at me. I ended up taking him to the hospital because I'm just going to say because. Leave it like that I told him I was sorry but he should never ever hit his girlfriend ever again are you can swing at me and nobody else wanted to take them so I had to
Walk away, but not because I don't care or I'm "heartless", quite the opposite but in my area, getting in to see the vet is really hard to do, and very expensive. So chances are I'm not going to "save" it anyway (depending on the injuries), and the time and money it'll take (neither of which I can afford).
If it's a wild animal, put it out of its misery.
If domestic, get it to a vet and have them contact the person on the animals chip
Like a child, another one is right around the corner and healthy.

I'd help it if it's a domesticated animal. Wild animals case by case. Sometimes you just need to leave nature to do it's thing, but if there's an interested conservation group I'd probably call them up.
I have taken injured animals to a place where there are people who take care of them.
I've helped injured birds who fly into windows and lay on the ground stunned, so yeah, I would do my best to help an injured animal or bird.
Try to help it
