The year has been good so far, personally. Don’t know if I’m on an extended hiatus from working or just phasing into semi-retirement, haha, but it’s been pretty sweet lately. Just learning to play hockey and doing a lot of fishing and working out, also taking care of my elderly father. He made it to 90 in January, despite being hospitalized in intensive care with Covid a couple weeks before, so that milestone birthday was a huge W for the fam. Just had my first season of beer league hockey, my first ever organized play with a referee and a set team and all that, and that’s cool because I’ve wanted to play since I was little and never got to. I’ll have to grow into it, but I managed to score a goal and had quite a few assists, and the real highlight was beating up a mouthy goalie who swung on me at the end of a game. I have the footage from the “LiveBarn” rink cameras via a subscription service, and I can’t stop, won’t stop posting the gif I made of me putting the kid on his ass lmfao

That goalie habitually sucks, you can tell by his teammate #31’s halfhearted defense of him and the referee didn’t exactly hustle over either, he’s seen his act before😂

I don’t know, I’m high and rambling, but that’s about all the news that’s fit to print.

Welcome back my friend & as for me I’m doing absolutely wonderful. I’m on vacation as of the moment & life is good. I’m enjoying solar therapy, waves, sand & my visit with my parents as well as my sister & my nephews. As for my first week off it’s just about to end & the good news is my second week of vacation is just about to start & next year I think I’ll take three or four weeks back to back.
