Cat lovers, do you love black cats?

I love cats and black ones are beautiful. Of course I love them.

My wife and I have owned 7 cats in the past 25 years. Four were older when we adopted them from a local shelter. They were all good kitties.

I rescued our first kitty, Rosie, moments from certain death from the center of a busy highway when she was 5 weeks old and we had her for 22 years.

We have two now - a small, sleek, chocolate-colored Burmese that we got from a couple who were moving. She's close to 17 years old now. Our other one is a big, super fluffy, marmelade-orange, part Maine coon. He's less than two years old.

None of our cats has been black but that wasn't deliberate.

Cats sometimes do cause a lot of trouble when you have them at home, my best friend sometimes have to be extra careful by not leaving her food behind for too long lol.

I have a friend who only adopts black cats. I adopted a black kitty in 2014 and no one wanted her.

It reminded me of my favourite cat named Coca Cola, she died years ago.
