Simply the option of anonymity invites trolling, since repercussions are less likely to appear. That's why I never respond to anonymous questions.
Even without anonymity the trolls and bots can be spotted, just look for profiles with numbers in names, or inconsistencies like having a year in their name that doesn't work with their listed age.
Bad spelling or nonsensical questions isn't definitive, but if they can't bother to spend time to check their spelling, why should you spend time to check and answer their questions?
All of the above. This website is really getting to the point where Yahoo Answers was when it was eventually shut down since the trolls overran the website.
Lets make an analogy. Lets say you have a flower garden full of beautiful flowers. The flowers being productive members. Now you have the weeds... Those are the trolls, the ignorant, the uneducated, etc. that infest the website and flood it out and pretty much drive anyone whose serious either off or to play along with their retard games.
That day I feel is coming to this website. The weeds are taking over the flower garden
OMG I know right? you would think that some of them are under the age of 10. I just block a lot of them because if they ask questions that stupid. I have no reason to hear anything else that they say.
I picked ignorant because a lot of them continue to ask the same question day after day, even after everyone who answers the question tells them otherwise.

A lot of it is haters and Trolls, there are a few if they respond to my posts I ignore or really take with a grain of salt. There are a good portion of people on here that truly try to be helpful. Welcome to the groups.
Some people have to clue how to socialize without insults.
