What are some pros/cons to having pets at home?

The only negativity I have is it tends to get a bit smelly. Especially when you’re gone all day and can’t deal with the dogs pee pads or cats litter box until you get home. But other then that it’s absolutely great fun having pets. They bring so much joy and entertainment.

Pros: cuddles, a companion, I get welcome home meows and he comes to the door to greet me

Cons: he is a cat, he sheds, he poops, he needs food and water.

I mean, they're not really cons. But if you're not ready to put in the work, don't get a pet.

Pets make good companions and can be fun to play with. You have to feed them and pick up their poop.
