Was this statement so stupid regarding female sociopathy?

I heard a guy once saying this about a female sociopath:
''Get her pregnant and once she gives birth, she'll naturally bond with her baby. It's a natural instinct. She'll feel it''. He followed it by saying that since it's a sociopath and not psychopath, she can change for the better after giving birth.

He really thought that a female sociopath can be healed with a pregnancy and childbirth.

Pretty stupid yeah. Motherhood does not make a moral woman. I don't pretend to know what does, but just squeezing out a kid isn't gonna cut it I don't think. Last week I read a story about a woman who threw her newborn into a fucking garbage can. So that more or less deflates the sociopath to saint via pregnancy theory.

i didn't read the clinical psychologic litterature on this but it sure seems like a bunch of bs what he said. like the hormones that wash through your body can only do so much. not fix cognitive shortcomings.

Those who truly think they know women (like legitimately think they know women) drive me absolutely insane. There are some on this site that I seriously want to slap. But ffs, MOTHERHOOD IS NOT FOR EVERYONE! I know this is going to be a controversial statement but there are just as many women who regret having children as there are picketing stating that they regret their abortion. In fact, I know more who regret motherhood than I do the latter. Men need to get their heads out of their asses and stop thinking their sperm is the end all solution to problems in women's lives.

Others didn't agree with his statement and thought he was being so naive. He still found it hard to believe that after undergoing a change in her body and a painful process (childbirth), that she would not immediately love the baby she just gave birth too. He really thought that becoming a mother would change that woman for the better.
