Would you rather be a sea captain or a pilot?

A pilot is freedom to roam around no limits (beside human once) and being in control and you can mostly do it all alone

In a boat you set a path then sit back and relax so about the same as going on a ride except you got resposibiltys and stuff
Your also at the mercy of the sea and need to have a crew to really travel its not really so much a single person that can do it all them self
