Is It Feminine For A Man To Take A Bubble Bath?

"I am just curious, I was having a conversation with my mother and she explained that she thinks it's girly for a man to take a bath and she is turned off by it.

I personally, don't think there's anything wrong with a man taking a bubble bath and I would actually ask my man if I could join him so we could relax together but I am curious what other people think"

I would certainly agree with your suggestion about doubling up in a tub to save water! >wink<.

And I WOULD take baths, except it is quicker to shower and getting to a pain to get up from the bath. I'd hate to use all that relaxation I just stored up, just to stand and get out of the tub.

That's a rather strange question. I have never been aware, or even heard about that taking a bath could be considered girly or manly. It's just taking a bath folks, to relax and wash, as well for girls as guys. By the way, my wife and I often took a bath together ;0)

I don't really like baths. Plus the doctors say that baths are generally unsafe for women and cause sterility in men. 😱

I use the Dr. Teal's brand foaming bubble bath with Epsom salt. I have been known to mix the coconut oil, lavender, and rose, for a relaxing bath at the end of the day, to help me sleep better. Plus, it contains Epsom salt, which is conducive for muscle relaxation. The eucalyptus foaming bubble bath helps me with my sinus allergies, too. Then, there's times that I take one just because I am in the mood for it. Therapy doesn't always have to be about the physical body.

If it's girly to seek therapeutic remedies, I don't want to be a man. I think it is silly that society has this image of what a man should be, and that this image society has created does not include the ability to be vulnerable in any way. Man is supposed to be impervious and never need therapy of any kind. I say horseshit.

No I do not think so. And even if that's the case, there's nothing wrong with doing a few things feminine.

I often take bubble baths, and my girlfriend loves them. My girlfriend loves that I'm feminine.

But it would be nice if we stopped seeing things as feminine, as bad things.

I have taken occasional bubble baths but now I only take showers. When we remodeled our bathroom, we took out the tub and created a walk-in shower.

It's okay for a guy to take a bubble bath. It's very relaxing.

My bath at age 12 was the last bath I had. It was the last time I was bathed by my mother.

And it’s not unfeminine for a man to take a bath. I’m more of a shower person myself. If I had broken arms and couldn’t bathe myself, my mom or a nurse would bathe me standing up and my mom could wash my hair at the sink.

Personally I don't mind baths especially after a brutal week don't get me wrong a hot shower is amazing but the ability to lay in hot water and just stretch is great especially if you have a jacuzzi tub

Me and my ex used to take baths together a lot.
Just lay there and hold each other and it was intimate. When we were younger we used to get drunk in the bathtub together watching movies, lol.

Yeah it was fun watching her stand up naked and get a towel. Sometimes she would lay on the bed and I would rub her lotion all over her body afterwards, massaging every inch of her.
These days if I ever smell her shampoo somewhere it takes me right back to holding her in the tub with her hair in my face.
