People have the right to be who and what they choose to be, as long it's not being forced on others. They're basically saying they have no preference when it comes to a partners sexual orientation or genitalia and can freely and easily connect physically and emotionally with anyone who strikes their fancy. That doesn't prevent them from fully committing to an individual they attach themselves to, so they're not more likely to have affairs.

What rubs me the wrong way is their choice of using plural pronouns rather than come up with unique pronouns. They could have used dee/dem or tee/tem or vee/vem. People didn't find it overly challenging when women decided they preferred being referred to as Ms rather than Miss or Mrs, as it was a unique new title that wasn't confused with something else. This complicates the lives of others who may find the adjustment difficult. Now, other people find themselves criticized when they slip up and use the wrong pronoun. How would you feel if you were into cats, and I told you that from now on cats need to be called dogs? Your choice is your choice, but don't complicate the lives of others just because you feel entitled to do so.
