Is it possible to be rich and not obsess over income?

My desire to earn money has consumed my other desires, I no longer care about other things like vacations or restaurant food cause it cuts into my productivity time. I eat out because my parents want me to buy them pizza and burgers but I don’t really enjoy it. I make time for God and income and aside from that I have no goals cause I’m busy.

Actually, it is possible to not obsess over income if you are earning a bit more than your lifestyle requires. By that I mean your current lifestyle is not extravagant. You are not using credit cards to fund your lifestyle.
You forego being an early adopter of fashion and technology when prices are inflated. You are self confident having no desire to impress strangers or friends. Your ego is not easily bruised by imagined or real put downs for not being a trendsetter.
Elderly people I've worked with apparently did this have died and had estates worth millions of US dollars.

rich people are rich because they spend their energy making money. Poor people are poor cuz they don't

Your time is like your diet. If you spend so much time working that you dont spend time maintaining your friendships and enjoying the little things in life, your life can become extremely unhealthy over time or very fragile. Many rich people use a lot of drugs because they let their work schedule control and consume them instead of being in control of their work schedule.

Like your diet, you need different nutrients to function properly. I'd say make time to learn another skill. Or do some volunteer work. Or take up a hobby. Like at least once a week.

Because if u have no life outside work, u might fall apart inside

will never being filthy rich, I say it's absolutely possible not to obsess over income, I have been in two completely different income brackets in my life, one of them being far below poverty level and the other being far above, and I was able to live a somewhat happy life in both of them, I'll tell you I was actually more miserable being wealthy, you tend to overlook the simple things in life that bring happiness if you're not focused and careful and fully aware of what money can do to a person... or should I say what "the love of money" can and WILL do to a person...
