I certainly have my questions, haha. I feel like our people really NEED to feel that way for some reason. Like why can’t we be #2, #6, #11, or whatever? People are always like “If you don’t love America, then why don’t you go live in [insert one of the worst examples of an impoverished and/or oppressed country] and see how you like it?”, which is one of the dumbest, most embarrassingly low-hanging fruit arguments you could make. Read about all that and more in this month’s issue of “DUHHH!” magazine🤪 I’m sure America is up there in terms of quality of life, or at least prosperity relative to the world. But that doesn’t mean you either live in America or you live in the most unimaginable hell possible, lmfao, and that’s how some people act. And of course you can find someone in another country with a decent general lifestyle who has gripes with their government or society. I hear all this talk about the southern border, “migrants are flooding it!”, all that. Ever notice people aren’t “flooding” the northern border? For sure, we get our share of Canadians, but it’s not like it’s so unimaginably bad people can’t wait to get out. “Trudeau made me wear a mask!😭” was a thing for a minute, but I don’t give a shit about that, I tend to think that’s smart, or at very least was smart to do when the information wasn’t fully in. You can agree or disagree, but the point is I feel like I could move to Ontario or something and get along just fine, maybe better in some areas than others, just like here, but overall fine. I don’t think I’d become a pauper or get enslaved by a dictatorship lmao. Is anyone trying to float out of New Zealand on any buoyant object in the dark of the night? Are the British outside of Buckingham Palace or Parliament with torches and pitchforks? No. From what I see, life seems fairly comparable to life in America, for my purposes, anyway. I don’t feel the need to own a big machine gun, lmfao, so maybe someone else feels different. But for me, I feel like any of those places would be a fairly lateral, if not upward, move. It’s really only familiarity that appeals to me here. I mean, I like it enough, I have a great life, but I don’t think my great life is solely because it takes place in America. I can do any of the things I like to do in any of those other places, I’d maybe just need to adjust to accents and the local dialect for communication, and the cuisine might take some getting used to, haha.

I suspect that most people don't think in terms of best country. It's too vague of a concept. There is no way to define best and no way to measure it. I've never in my life tried to think of the best country because there is no such thing.

It's a very good country, but beyond that is far too subjective.

No, I think is the most shady country in the world. It’s strong and rich thanks to immigration abuse, racism, segregation and despotism. 🤷🏻‍♀️ So no, there is better countries out there that are more welcoming of immigrants than the US that goes claiming is a nation built and sustained by immigrants.

Why would anyone believe that when there is ranking of countries worldwide based on many factors and US is not the 1st. Then it fails to top in other more specific rankings based on certain topics like overall happiness or best healthcare etc. Might have the best military but in reality that's not useful to an average joe living in america compared to the best healthcare or overall happiness.

Therefore factually US cannot be and it would only take a delusional patriotic guy who don't do any research to believe as such.

the word best or great is really subjective and not one country really qualifies across the board.

it also (as part of that subjectivity) depend on a number of things around social freedoms, social level, gender, sexuality etc.

in general it better than most, best... probably others. of ones I know is best... how I know this... other people come here!

new zealand possibly better, etc..

we have a lot of problems... but overall, can have really good life here.

For the most part, it WAS, until 18 months ago!! But, it still can't be THAT bad if a million or more foreigners are so willing to risk their very lives to get here illegally!

I've traveled around the world. I've seen in justices in many parts. This is the only country that can stand up to its own government. We're the only country in the world that has fearless to stand up to dictatorships.
