A pump action 12 gauge with a deer slug or buck shot can technicaly take your head off at close range and is more acurate at distances of 50 feet or more it depends on what 9mm your referring to in my town there is no ammo for 9mm but plenty of shot gun ammo so im going to have to say ole rem 870

The point of my question here. Is that people who are anti gun, don’t truly understand calibers or different types of firearms.

The point, is that they hear the term semi automatic and automatically think that’s the end all be all most dangerous weapon ever.

When comparing say a 9mm semi automatic handgun to a pump action shotgun… the shotgun is actually more lethal.

You shoot a person in the leg with a 9mm they might survive. You shoot a person in the leg with a 12gauge… that leg is gonna get blown off.

How many times have you had this type of convo with the uneducated on this subject:

I would think a 12 gauge at close range would just about cut you in half. With that said a 9 mil will go right through you. Either way your dead. In the end though I would take a 12 gauge for home defense. for aiming at close range just point & pull the trigger.
