I haven't heard 'sweaty' just used in this context in its own. Usually it's 'sweaty tryhard'. But what it means is you're playing the game too well/serious. This is a go-to insult of players who suck and are just upset you beat them at something. Because apparently being good at the game means you have no life outside of it. Which is nonsense.

You‘re sweating cause you‘re a dirty tryhard who will do anything to win while totally forgetting that games are supposed to be fun and not exhausting. But instead of having fun you‘re freaking out and try so hard that you start sweating because you treat games more like a performance based competition than a way to have fun and relax.

"Sweaty" is a slang term used by gaming communities to describe players who are trying too hard or taking a game too seriously.. SWEATY commonly means trying hard. A person who puts an excessive amount of effort to win a game even when it's not required is a Sweaty gamer.

you can get it in Clan games where one of the team is really OTT lol and is really trying too hard and everyone else is Chills.
