What's so attractive about hands?

I've had a few people say that I have nice or attractive hands and don't understand how someone can find hands attractive.

Hands are such a helpful yet gentle part of a person. Sometimes hands can even tell you about the person (like when someone has "working class hands"). I just like slightly veiny but ultimately soft hands a lot.
