Is there any psychological or analytical purpose that the therapist asks me to describe myself physically?

The other day I went, he asked me to describe my facial features and I told him that my face was as I saw it and then he insisted so I began to describe that my eyes are big, eyebrows, etc. then he asks me to describe the body and I tell him that my legs are thin and he says: but what about the shape of your legs and I answer that they are legs like those of any human. then when I told him that's it, he asked me and you don't have ears that you didn't describe them and I told him that was enough and that I wasn't going to describe more because the ears are ears that I am going to describe them.

I ask because I have no knowledge of psychology and I have no idea how useful this will be.
