Doesn't Australia count?

At 11:14am UTC this morning (8 June 2022), 7.2 billion people, or 93% of the world’s population, experienced sunlight at that moment. That's the most that can happen.

But what about Australians? Don't they count? Look at the map. While the rest of the world's land masses (other than parts of Antarctica) are in sunlight, Australia is totally dark.

I just noticed that the moon was over Australia, with its redirected sunlight shining down on the Aussies, so maybe they're not forgotten after all.

If you think Greenwich is the center of the universe, you have far bigger problems. If you mean GMT, then SAY GMT.

I don't believe that Greenwich is the center of the universe, just that UTC is the universal time standard that computers use, before converting it to local time. UTC and GMT are not exactly the same (they can differ by around a second), though they are close.
