I do. I got two rottweilers, pure bred. One is 140 pounds, the other is 110. I play very rough with my dogs, and frequently get bit. There’s this mutual understanding between me and my dogs that we aren’t seriously fighting, but we aren’t being super gentle. Although they’re big ass dogs, I don’t wrestle with them because it’s easy to hurt a dog doing that. I actually slapbox them. Yes. I slap my dogs in the face. Hard enough to feel, not hard enough to cause a yipe or fear. I have a very strong bond with both dogs, and they’ll lick you to death, but they are both extremely protective of me. Even with eachother. My bigger one will grab the smaller one by the throat if the smaller one is biting me and I’m not playing back (smacking her). You can tell by body language these dogs know it’s playing (Sneezing, tail high and wagging, not at a super fast pace, putting their butt in the air), but I do get my arm opened up quite a bit. I typically do bleed each time, so I always got bactine. These dogs, despite being slapped pretty hard while “fighting” never show fear or signs of abuse when not playing, they’re very cuddly and affectionate. They have different strategies. My smaller actually dodges, and tries to sneak you with several fast bites, my bigger one just eats the slaps, latches on your arm, and pulls you down.
