Those of you with pets, do you "spoil" them?

I have seen videos of people with pets at the table, serving them there, giving them birthday parties, and so on. I used to make my dog Bailey a birthday cake that he would wolf down in about 3 seconds. Of course I made it from a safe for dog recipe using peanut butter, honey, and some other ingredients. But now, my cat is acting like a dog whenever I cook and sit to eat. She is actually begging, like my dog was trained not to. Granted, I have fed her a tiny piece of pancake once which she loved, and sometimes fish. But I'm no longer dogging this because she is like a little dog watching me eat, and meowing and running in and out of my legs while I am cooking. I've yet to step on her.

Pets are part of the family, yes. But I wouldn’t allow this, cat nor dog. They have everything else; beds, food water., and love!

and the dog under it, that's where they do find their feed

the dining table, they know they are not allowed to stay there... but they do try from time to time

Of course. Our dog is "my girl", though my wife is her alpha dog and master. Both of us spoil our dog. Why not?
