This is my first palm plant

I got it at Home Depot. I’m surprised it’s still perked up since my mom and I had to squeeze it in the back seat of the car. It tipped over while we were driving

Well, it looks like they grow to be relatively tall outdoors, so I just wondered. lol But I'm sure they eventually hit a limit indoors. However, I wouldn't worry about it being squeezed into a car and it taking a tumble. Palms are very resilient. I mean, just look at how they survive a hurricane!

And to be honest I thought I brought a indoor plant 😅. Till you made me look up what type of palm it was lol.

I’m happy, sad, and worried right now. Cause I’m growing a tree and I live in a apartment 😭.

lol Well, palms can be grown as indoor plants too, and the Majesty palm is a common houseplant, so I wouldn't worry about it too much. 🙂 Although, given enough time your local park might mysteriously have a semi-large palm "pop up" overnight at some point. 😂

No 😔. It snows here for 6 months. Have not seen any palm trees nearby and I don’t want to hurt my baby 😭😭😭

Haha. Well, I was just being silly, but yeah, I totally understand. I live in Canada and palms can't survive in most places here. There are places on the west coast of Canada that have them though, and there are some people local to me who grow them too, so it's not impossible. But the vast majority of Canada gets too cold to grow them. It also depends on the variety as well. There are sonly some that are cold tolerant.
