I'm growing this pepper plant. how does it look?

It looks a little water stressed and short... But it's producing a harvest, so it's serving it's purpose. I see 6 peppers on it... They usually produce about 10, so you're not doing too horrible.

That's good... It still looks water stressed though. Are you growing it indoors? I see it's potted and you took the photo on your patio... The yellowing/browning around the leaf edge and white spots throughout the leaves which makes me think you are over watering or there isn't enough air circulation where you are growing it to allow enough transpiration.

it's texas, humid so it could be burn? but it's half shade half sun. it's in a good place so i don't know?

Could be I guess, but the white spots in conjunction with the yellowing leaf edges make me think over watering. Too much water can cause cell death which appears as little white spots on leaves at first. They are too small to be flea beetles. They could be spots from aphids, but I don't see any in the picture. The most logical conclusion from the information I have is over watering. Peppers do like a little dappled shade so no problem there.

It looks like sunlight passing through dead cells to me, not like surface contamination, but you have a better eye on it where you are. You'll have to make the call.

i think a caterpillar got on one leaf. other than that it looks good. if you look at the stalk it's sprouting new leaves at the base. but i'm a shitty farmer

Next time try less water, but about 30% shade and they will probably grow much larger taller and bushier and putting on larger peppers.

Some people in hot climates put shade cloth over them on tomato cages which helps to moderate the extreme temperatures in a place like Texas. Here in Florida, I just inter-crop mine under a canopy of papaya trees.

Most important thing though is to always get a harvest... You accomplished that.

Seems good to me
