Do dogs and other animals laugh in a way humans do? If yes, can you name other animals as well?
PS. aren't they cute?

I actually Googled this exact thing once!
So apparently, dogs have a sense of playfulness, but not really a "sense of humor", per se. They can read human emotions and they can tell when we're having fun. Because of the pack mentality that dogs have, they'll try to join in.
But no, dogs don't "laugh" or have a sense of humor.
And yes, they are adorable.
Thank you for MHO.
No (and yes, they are indeed cute). It's possible that dogs, and maybe elephants, have some inkling of what laughter is and represents, but they don't really have an equivalent (cats don't understand it, but they don't care, because they're cats). Hyenas do make a similar SOUND, but that's not at all the same thing.

In a way. They can pant to express laughter but it's not really the effective way us humans and monkeys do it.
No, they don't laugh. They just tell their dog friends how stupid we humans are when trying to be funny. 😉
As a , creature that taught their syrinx how to also be a larynx I can confirm that yes they do
Apes are thought to laugh similarly to humans.
Of course…
