Sometimes but I never know where it is unless someone points it out. Last summer, I saw it nearly every night because I knew where it was!

Download an app. It is so bright. You wouldn't mistake Jupiter with anything except for Venus.

I had thought it was Venus because it is too bright. My space app on my phone showed that what I was seeing was Jupiter instead. Lol.

Current brightness is -2.61 for Jupiter and -3.83 for Venus.

Venus rises during the daytime only for a long time. Jupiter is seen at night.

I know that at least 5 of the planets were all lined up in the morning sky with the moon about 3 week ago but, of course, we're not allowed to see celestial events here!! it's always cloudy as fuck during those events!! I DID manage to see at least 3 of the planets.
How do I know which is which? They'd all look like stars, to me.

I think I saw one just before dawn.
When I saw them last summer, they looked exactly like stars except that Saturn looked a tad orange.

Venus and Jupiter are far too bright to look like a star.

If you are mistaken something as bright as Venus and Jupiter with a star, then you dont know what you are talking about.

Bright enough for me to see it last summer. I could sit right here and look out the window in front of me and see it and Jupiter.

You know Jupiter is brighter than all stars, right?

That is where your problem lies.

Venus and Jupiter are most bright things after the Moon when they can be seen at night.

These days, only Jupiter can be seen after midnight.

Well, if they were all just lined up a few weeks ago, they should all still be seen at night. I doubt any of them are going so fast that a couple weeks would take them completely out of vision.

They didn't line up a few weeks ago.

Venus and Mercury rises up in morning.

Besides, seeing planets in early morning isn't same as seeing them at night. Sun takes away brightness.

Mercury rises 48 minutes after Sun

Venus rises 1 hour and 50 minutes before Sun

They certainly did, I saw part of it.
Yeah, it was about 5:00 a. m. that I saw them.
I know but, it's the only time you were able to see them. I had no control over that.
See? That's what I just said. They come up first thing in the morning. How am I supposed to see Mercury if it comes up AFTER the Sun?
