What is the scariest thing you ever witnessed with your own eyes?

In 2010, when I was in Afghanistan, we had been fighting for so long my platoon had come to the brink of running out of ammunition. When word came down to fix bayonets, I'd never been that scared before.

Luckily, one of our fellow platoons finally made it to us and it ended up being unnecessary to fight like that.

I saw a “security” guard at a casino hit an old man over the head with her nightstick for no good reason. His head split open instantly and he fell, hitting his head on the floor and splitting him open again. He was shaking and bleeding profusely, and nobody was helping.

Oh shit, I totally forgot about one time I was almost sandwiched in an Accident on the same highway💀

I was on my way home from school (50 min drive) and was in the fast land and see a couple cars in front of me start to abruptly stop. It was the hardest I’ve ever pressed on my breaks and the longest hold I’ve ever done, and my nose was well within a foot of the bumper of the car in front of me. I then see a medium sized dog walk out from in front of the column of cars, and then I look in the rear-view and see a Chevy Suburban come up behind me, turn into the turning lane, and spin out a few revolutions before stopping in the opposite lane, and saw the white smoke from his tires. Luckily there were no cars coming towards him at the time, and I’m thankful he noticed in time and swerved.
