Is here someone collecting coins or banknotes?

I am collecting coins from around the world. When I am on holiday abroad I am trying to change coins (euros) for their coins or when I have some friend who is foreigner (for example mum's friend from job from India) I ask him for their coins. But I don't collect banknotes because they are more expensive than coins. :)

And I don't care about mint year or some issue year or whatever. Just only what's on the coin (I want to collect all euro coins from every euro country because every country has different nation side) and where it's from.

Is here someone who is collecting too? :)

Yeah! I once found my dad's little coin and bills collection, then I started collecting too. I have old coins and bills from my country, from before my parents even met. I also have japanese and mexican coins, and different south america bills from 6 countries.

I think it's nice to have this kind of collection, even if it's not complete, since because of digital money I believe there will be the day when we barely see real money or don't see it anymore. It'll be cool to show that collection to future family members.
