What would you do if your family/friends tried to give you a intervention?

You see it in TV shows and etc but what would you do if you were put into that?

I would first wonder what the intervention is about. I'm not addicted to anything. I watch a fair amount of porn and drink a fair amount of soda, but I've stopped for several weeks cold turkey (like the family vacation I had last month).

Could be anything. But it's more about how you would initially respond? Myself would just run lol.

I mean if it's something I want to stop, but can't then I'd stay.

Had it done to me before I got sober. Initially thought “ahh what the hell” because I despise family gatherings/reunions.


Was the best thing that’s ever happened to me. Interventions usually come from nothing but utter support from people just wanting to help you. Going on three years sober 02/10/23
