Proud or pride?

If all your classmates have cars (post-grad) and you personally have to walk 300/400 m distance for me to get transport and your friend while walking you out the gate as cars pass by (classmates) asks you "why don't they give you a lift? Will you be fine walking alone?" And your reply is i'll be fine i don't want to bother people.

Do you guys think it is pride or being proud with one's situation.

You take them up on their possibility of kindness. Let them be helpful…don’t be so prideful that you are self-destructive.-Was your Dad like that too⁉️ To say “No” or “Not Ask” is to display poor Judgment which is not going to help you in networking aspects of Job Hunts.
