Do you get jealous of wealthy people?

I come from a very wealthy background and have many people that have been jealous of me and my family.
Do you get envious/spiteful towards the rich?

When I was a kid I knew a bunch of kids that were friends of a girl I was dating. They all had rich parents and went to fancy colleges and lived on campus and their parents paid for it. A lot of them drove nice cars and they had sailboats and went skiing. I had to go to a crappy commuter college and drove an old Chevy and worked a crappy part time job to pay for tuition. I really was jealous of these kids.

Nah, my father was a banker for a lot of wealthy people so I interacted with plenty of the wealthy kids and families growing up. I knew having money is nice and opens doors but I’m happy with who I am and the way I grew up.


I don’t envy anyone especially wealthy , if I had their money I would just donate most of it away and just travel and try to live a normal life anyway

I grew up in a comfortable family but we weren't rich. I was not envious of the more wealthy. It's like we are all individuals.

If I grew up poor, maybe I would be envious? I didn't grow up that way so I don't know.

Most of my/our customers are wealthy - and some are (really) rich as well; I see nothing that I'd especially admire.
