Some people on here are rather quick to judge instead of providing a helpful answer. I’m extremely sorry about the situation you’re in. Your best bet would be to take screenshots of the chats of them blackmailing you for evidence purposes and contact the legal authorities right away. They will connect you to the cyber crime unit.
The person is threatening to leak your nudes because they think you’re under their control. They may want more nudes or something like that. These type of people usually tend to be obsessive and crazy. Block that person, but make sure you’ve taken screenshots of the chat and deactivate all your social media for a while. If they do leak the picture, which I highly doubt they will, you can contact the cops and that person can be arrested and jailed. Revenge porn is illegal almost everywhere.

Depending on where you are you might be able to take legal action if someone does that. If someone is threatening you, you can call a local law office, get a message emailed to you that summarizes what penalties one would suffer from releasing those images without your consent and share that with the person who is threatening to leak the photos.
But then again, love and heart-brake makes people do irrational things so there's always the possibility that they would leak them anyway and deal with the consequences O_O

Don't give in unless you *like* being blackmailed.
If they're blackmailing you now and you let them they'll use that leverage to increase their power etc and they'll just abuse their power more and more testing what they'll get away with, making you their slave.
Being someones slave doesn't have to be a bad thing, but it should be with someone you trust, not strangers on the internet abusing their power like this.
Yes, standing up to them carries risks.
But not doing so is likely to end up causing the same problems while making you miserable in the meantime.
Also consider contacting the authorities as most western jurisdictions have some kind of laws making the spreading of pictures of you without your consent illegal.
And you may have some kind of legal recourse.
In my country for instance there's laws helping you track down and delete such pictures.
It's not easy, but at least you'll have someone in your corner helping you.

In all honesty, I'd never share my nudes with anyone, no matter how long we've been dating, and if she sends me something instead, I'll delete 'em and tell her not to send nudes over text anyways. There are a lot of factors to consider and look out for when sending risque photos to one another; because there's always the danger of your photos either accidentally getting sent to the wrong person, someone snooping into your phone/computer and accidentally chancing upon you or your S/O's naked pics, or your S/O just being an asshole and leaking your photos to your friends after you guys end up breaking up.
What is the point of sending nudes? Why not just send an interest a picture of a fruit that is sized proportionately to what you want to convey?
It's simple: only get naked around someone you trust, who's willing to do the same for you, in an environment with no cameras.
If he spills the beans that he saw you with no clothes on, most of his peers aren't gonna care. Pics or it didn't happen. Plus, if he goes talking about your private time to his friends, you can turn it around, and your gal pals know everything about his junk from you. No one can make a move without some backlash, so there's instant accountability.
And if you don't trust him, keep your clothes on. That simple.
Putting anything steamy of you online is basically inviting the entire world inside your underwear.
That's why you never share nudes. If you know they are still on the person phone and not uploaded any place else, you know code, sneak and try to delete them or throw the phone somewhere they can't find it lol

The part about not sending nudes not causing problems.
It's a few years ago now, but I visited a website on the dark net once where you could see nudes and the personal information about thousands of girls, and comments about them.
The ideology of the people running it was that *taking* nudes, even if never shared was wrong and should be used against her.
And they'd accept pictures from hackers from data breaches in places like Dropbox etc.
But also data entries about addresses etc of girls with unknown identities.
The sites hosts in many countries had already been sued, and it was illegal to host it in most western countries like the US.
But they found ways around that.
The last known server of theirs was located in Somalia (and with their civil war they have bigger concerns then the rights of western girls on their internet.
And being on the dark net (the Tor network in this case) governments couldn't stop their citizens from accessing it.
Anyway, discovering this site while browsing on the dark net I let someone I knew at the time in a hacking group know about it and they managed to take them down, thankfully.
But yeah, with that kind of guys it's enough that a nude exists *somewhere*, like on your phone even if no one ever shared it, as long as whatever location that's on was hacked...

3) leak their photos too
4) cry about it and get over it

Remember it’s 2022 and you won’t be the first naked person on the internet.
First I would neutralize the situation by asking some of your male friends to literally cripple this person and send him to the hospital for a couple of months. Next I would alert law enforcement and don’t hesitate to contact the FBI. If these images were distributed over state lines it is a federal offense. But I would go with step one asap while he’s still in the threatening phase.
Contact of FBI or the police because that kind of thing is technically illegal unless you gave that person permission are you have your photos on the internet yourself then otherwise you need to seek help from the professionals who can deal with this type of thing cuz that is clearly illegal
If your photos are released without your consent that in many states can be considered "revenge porn" and legal action is possible. While you're waiting for the police you can reach out to family and friends and whomever else you deem appropriate to tell them that people may be sending them explicit material that involves you. It'll be awkward but getting ahead of this stuff is for the best.
