Cliché, but how to make friends?

Trust me, I've tried but it just doesn't work out.

Maybe it's cos I myself, don't have an active life so my life isn't that exciting nor intriguing.

I'm quite normal and still don't have any skill that I absolutely excel at.

I'm more on the quiet side as well.

I'm at college already and I know that networking is a pretty important skill for every career.

Tho with my current social skills, I wouldn't be able to to that.

My personality type (if it helps):

•5w6 -> enneagram

•IxTP (in between ISTP/INTP) -> myers briggs or mbti.

I don’t have an active social life, ie going out to events or a big presence at work. So I’ve made my friends online. Instagram and Facebook were easiest to find mutuals on and become friends. All of my friends that I’ve had for years, I met through Facebook or Instagram.

Find people with the same interests. Ask them questions. Remember their answers. Big part of being friends is listening and remembering what is important to people. This shows them they are important to you and you care. That is forming bond.

Oh ok. I don't know what to tell you because I'm kinda the same way lol. I know it's hard but you probably just need to get out more and pick up new hobbies. The more people you meet the more chances you have of meeting someone you connect with.

Or you could just get a cat or something. I'm sure they'd be your friend.
