I’m in the midst of planning for my next big move.

I’ve been learning new skills, making little investments in myself, working on just being more care-free and confident in what I need and what I want… I’d like to go back south or even explore another opportunity if it’s right, but it’s really tough out there.

It just feels like we have a lot of systemic issues working against us at the moment. So locking yourself into a big financial commitment right now? Not the best idea, I don’t think lol.

But when things cool off, I want to be ready.

Which warm state are you planning to move too? I just came from Cali. The cost of living is insane 😳 but I loved it. I was just too close to family there to where I couldn't live my own life but the social scene is awesome. Arizona gets very hot but the people are very nice and the social scene is nice especially in scottsdale.

Cali is nice best place for singles and young professionals. The dating and social scene was incredible that's what makes me miss it. Most people there are very ambitious so it pushes you to want more.

Arizona a lot of rich people live in Scottsdale along with young professionals and singles. The social scene is hot. Every night something is going on downtown Scottsdale. I people are overall nice. Scottdale is pricey with luxury apartments.

Florida is nice especially Orlando if you're looking for cultural diversity. There are a lot of jobs. Nice social scene as well. Miami and Orlando are pricey. Is it good for singles? Eh not really

Moving out to the country helped me to realize breaks are necessary though! And never a crime.

Repairing the evaporative cooler in my house next week. The fan and water tubes aren't working optimally. Naturally that happened during temps that are over 100 degrees.

Tomorrow night, my wife are going for pizza and salad at a great, nearby pizza restaurant.

On Monday, we're going to a BBQ at some friend's house. We're bringing home made potato salad and a bottle of wine.

I know, Daniela. I'm in central California in the Sierra Nevada foothills. It's not humid. Swamp coolers work very well here.

We have a window AC unit in our bedroom and one in our guess bedroom when for when needed. At night, we used the one in our bedroom quite a bit this time of year.

What happened was, the pulley for the motor broke and the belt fell off. I repositioned the belt to a smaller pulley on the shaft, but that makes the fan go way slower. And then I discovered that 2 of the 6 spider tubes that carry water to the pads are clogged. So I need to fix the pulley and the tubes at the same time while I'm in there. I've got a guy coming over to help.

The funny thing is the dog was supposed to be a terrier and looked like a terrier in the picture online. I thought I was getting a small dog. Yes…I wanted to died the moment I saw a charge on our credit card that he took another woman out on a date while I was home with our two little ones.
He wanted the car early to go to “work” I came home from work early so he can take the car. he dressed better than other days. I didn’t mention it.
When I didn’t hear back after 2 calls, my gut told me something was wrong. I checked our credit card charges. A $300 charge to the restaurant I always wanted to go to. My heart broke. That my marriage over, and my family broke. What follows was a whole year of agony, depression, suicidal thoughts, nightmares…told to take drugs, meds. all like hell. While other women continue to sex him…
So yes I went through all that. The divorce, the court. I didn’t want anything but a peace of mind. I didn’t want or get alimony or child support or go to court or the kids. He makes double than me. We both spent over $50k on lawyer fees.
At some point, I had to be the mother, the mature one to take on the change the new life I have to face for our children.
So here we are today…I Connie to call him to work together as two parents in separate homes to raise our kids to be the next best…. they are both better than us in many ways. We praise each other the amazing work we had to put into to raise these as well as they deserve.

The darkness will be there…be with you for sometime…feel those pain - BUT don’t let it stay in you forever.

I’m sorry about that.. this was meant to be ‘celebratory in life,’ but yk what.. even as sad as death is, we can be happy that life keeps going on for us. If the sun stopped shining and grass stopped growing and rain stopped raining.. how could we even possibly imagine moving on right?

But life does do that, it moves on and with it moving on, it can encourage us to say our goodbyes and remember that life is still at work *within us.* That never-ceasing ‘strive to thrive’ is within you. In the fibers of your dna and your character. So live and let live. Be sad for a moment, but realize it’s not your time to say goodbye to earth and life yet. YoU still have a view to see, and things to try, as well as the many people of all cultures.. and some who have lost loved ones, too but they move on.

I care about you sis, enough to say this because we as a people shouldn’t give ‘death’ that *luxury* to inflict fear into us as youth, or to let it live rent free in our head. We are the masters of our own fate ✨ until the clock finishes it’s sequence.

Thanks it’s just the person I’m getting them from is my therapist and she said something about either the mother being feral or something I’m hoping they aren’t. There’s also the fact that I live with my mom and grandma and my grandma will actually be pissed but after my last cat died at only 2 which he passed back in June of some heart issue, he was 14 pounds before When I took him to the vet last but I don’t know how heavy he was before that, he wouldn’t let me hold him which he always did and he was my comfort but I don’t have that nearly anymore besides my boyfriend now even though I have another cat he’s just not the same as he’s more adventurous and wants to go outside with my dogs and stuff.

Yea it’s just I want the comfort my cat gave me but that’s probably not possible. I miss my cat so much. I constantly feel like the world is just too harsh for me as I’m stuck trying to get what I want just to turn around and be affected by my family’s response to anything. I’m yelled at to do things and I have to always ask to do things. Half the time I just want a hug but those hugs are usually temporarily or not genuinely holding enough. I always have to ask my mom if I can give her a hug and it’s usually a response of not now or okay annoyingly and I just feel less love as she goes from randomly hugging me to not even listening to me and having to ask to do anything. I wish my family would love like that again but that’s not possible for a long while

I totally sympathize with this. These are very real emotions you feel, but the best thing you can do is to rely on your intuition and work ethic. You have to be out of an environment like that.

You can feel love, safe, and happy without needing it from people like your family. My mom has ignored me since I was young and I got older realizing she actually has a short attention span. 😂👌

The faults that you notice in your family/ which indeed hurt, are things they can’t help or understand.

Set your happiness on things that will not change. Be happy with you. That happens when you do things you love and make you feel warm inside. Great music, fun activities, doing daring stuff, comedy, and so much more. I say this with true concern and hopes that you don’t go on breaking for people who are broken. Salvage yourself and your heart sis, and work hard to get your own place and live the life you wish to live and see. Pups kittens, a boyfriend, some good funny friends, and many places you can visit- beaches, theaters, museums, and all that good stuff.

You don’t need them. You most likely feel this way because you’re a humanitarian, a genuine soft-hearted person. Maybe your love language is even touch? I’m saying you’re not at fault for any of it, but just don’t wait for something that may never happen.

Let life catch you by surprise as you work for the reality that YOU want and DESERVE.

I think it still *very much* applies to this topic of death :

I’m sorry about that.. this was meant to be ‘celebratory in life,’ but yk what.. even as sad as death is, we can be happy that life keeps going on for us. If the sun stopped shining and grass stopped growing and rain stopped raining.. how could we even possibly imagine moving on right?

But life does do that, it moves on and with it moving on, it can encourage us to say our goodbyes and remember that life is still at work *within us.* That never-ceasing ‘strive to thrive’ is within you. In the fibers of your dna and your character. So live and let live. Be sad for a moment, but realize it’s not your time to say goodbye to earth and life yet. YoU still have a view to see, and things to try, as well as the many people of all cultures.. and some who have lost loved ones, too but they move on.

I care about you sis, enough to say this because we as a people shouldn’t give ‘death’ that *luxury* to inflict fear into us as youth, or to let it live rent free in our head. We are the masters of our own fate  until the clock finishes it’s sequence.

Truly hope you can live it up, as hard as it may feel for you in that moment, if and when it comes.

I hope you both look ahead with great or peaceful expectation. If it’s suicidal possibly I hope you don’t go through with it and if it’s an unexpected diagnosis, I want to say I hope you find it as NO excuse to live this life with all you have and desire. If it means sky diving do so! If it means resting, then do so!
