Oh definitely. I have an iPhone and no special equipment so the moon is one of the things I can only admire with my eyes and not be able to take a picture of it. It’s beautiful in every phase even when there’s just a sliver of it and always appear every night. I actually like looking at the moon much more than the sunset/sunrise because there’s something quiet and peaceful about “spending time” with a brightly lit moon and an occasional blanket of stars. I always feel really patient looking at the moon, and also rejuvenated. The best time I think to look at a moon is sometimes around almost midnight, skies can become a mid tone gray, and the moon is just sitting in between the wispy clouds. Absolutely peaceful and beautiful to be in and witness.
One interesting moon fact is opposite what we experience when in direct sunlight and its 85° compared to the shade where it will be 5°-10° cooler in direct moonlight on a full moon if it's 65° then in the same shady spot as compared to the sunlight it will be 5°-10° warmer. This is indicative of the moon being it'd own light a cold light opposite the warm sunlight and not reflective of the sun as we are told. I've worked with many headlamps and light sources and never with any other example have I observed something reflecting light from something else and not also reflecting at least some of the heat as well. Even if no heat is being reflected I can think of no other reason or explanation to why moonlight is colder than the absence of moonlight. This is one anyone can verify for themselves. Check it out
Holy balls. I need one of those telescopes. This is the best I can get at the moment
It is a beautiful photo... It appears you own a 60mm refractor... The more you practice the better photos you will take... It takes time...
That was taken with a phone lol
Actually yes I do. When I was growing up in the Philippines, i’d sit outside on the porch and watch the moon and the stars. It gives me peace and happiness. I still do every time I visit. Even in Canada, I’d look up and watch the sky 🌌, the sunrise and sunset… it’s beautiful 😍.

Yes I did...
I did that tonight. Actually called a “friend” come watch the moon with me. It was vey clear but warm here. Two candles and blanket. Great time under the moon. Get peace when one can even if unconventional 😎
What type of telescope are you using? And do you see your UFOs around the Moon?
I got a 5" reflector and a 3" refractor type.. Just two in all amateur level... No UF's yet...
I’m into Astrology so yes. I have moon jewelry also lol. A couple friends of mine religiously send each other pictures of the moon every single month on the full moon it’s a thing with us. We are all into astrology I think it’s an awesome thing.
Do you mean Astronomy
That's a big investment
Few things are as eye catching as a full silver or gold moon. It’s even eye catching when it’s out during the day too.
Yeah, the moon is great. I used to go to an astronomical observatory and look at the moon through a telescope.
I saw a really awesome blood moon this morning
Definitely! I was just staring at it in my back patio. Every time I see it I get all emotional thinking about the beauty and wonder in the workings of the universe
Maybe not through a telescope but I do love to just sit on the porch sometimes and admire it, there is definitely something very magical about it.
My eyes are always drawn to a good moonlight vista over the woods where I live. Clear moons, moons shrouded in mist, it's captivating.
It depends on who's flashing it.
Oh, THE moon!! Yeah, it CAN be pretty cool but, my big question is, why/how does it keep moving around in the sky!! I mean north to south, and back.

It depends on what kind of MOON we are talking about.
I live in the middle of nowhere so can still enjoy the night sky and the sounds of the night.
Hello beauty
Hell yes. Wish I had a telescope. And even more awesome when you can see all the stars
How much does that telescope cost?
That's a marvelous shot
Around 500$…
That's a big investment
