I don’t think it’s jealous if a guy is particular with what a girl wears.

Jealousy implies you are envious you don’t have what someone else has. This doesn’t make sense 😂

It means he expects exclusivity and he’s protective because he cares about the girl.
Many girls these days really think the sun shines out of their backside to think men are jealous etc.

Men want respect and exclusivity from women.

Jealousy is when you are afraid someone is going to take what you have from you or surpass you.
Envy is when you want something someone else has.

You could argue a man is jealous a woman dressing like a slut is going to get the attention of "higher quality" men and one of those men will steal his girl away from her. But envy would be the other man, who wants the girl dressed provocatively.

A man COULD be jealous a girl dressing like a cheap whore will leave him for the closest man who's taller and richer than him. Or... (Now hear me out), or maybe, he just doesn't want his woman dressing like a cheap whore. Because of said men and unwanted attention.

Here's the thing... if you want to date someone who shares the same opinions as you, that's a whole different story. Some people have modest personalities and I get that.. To then force your morals about revealing clothing and modesty onto other people who dont see it the same way as you do is kind of a dick move and come off very jealous and is absolutely controlling. That's why it's important to date people who share the same values as you

I don’t think it’s jealousy but it does sound like insecurity. A man should be proud of his girl and would want the world to see his lady, but at the same time, he should feel secure enough to know that other guys wouldn’t try to hit on her out of respect bc they know that she’s already taken. She should also respect her man by not responding to other guys. He’s her boyfriend, not her dad…

If you feel uncomfortable seeing your girl dress provocatively to the point that you have to control what she wears… then it sounds like you’re scared that other guys might snatch her up from you (possibly better looking, more successful, overall better guys).
