Why do women only listen, talk to guys whom they have romantic thoughts on?

In my experiences, guys really try to help someone without getting anything in return. But girls do that to get to know the guy. As long as she has the interest, she is going to help the guy. When it's gone, they won't even hear you.

Women can be more selfish and unaware than they think they are. From my experience and conversations with women about these sort of things, most just don’t tend think about their actions in regards to others. They focus on themselves and expect for things to be a certain way for them.
