+1 yNo. I used to do a lot of water skiing and fishing from boats, but I've never owned one. I also used to do some sailing on very small boats. I was far from being an expert but I knew the basics.
I don't really have a desire to own one. I wouldn't use it. I always thought it would be cool to live on a boat at a marina though.
