Do dreams actually mean anything?

Few times I've dreamt about dogs. The dreams was always about running from them or someone saving me from a dog attack. I'm actually afraid of most dogs, esp if it's a big one. Though I've noticed myself a bit more confident around dogs lately. Today's dream was different.

My boyfriend was telling to lock the doors because there's a big, aggressive dog. We were protecting ourselves. Then after a while, I see two dogs started attacking my boyfriend and I shoot them with a gun. Then I saw one more dog outside. I opened the door, get my gun and started telling it ''Come on, you mother*******''. It charged and I shot it to death. I called the hospital to get my boyfriend treated for minor injuries. Then I woke up from the dream.

I've never in my life dreamt about confronting a dog or killing it. It was always about running away from them or someone saving me from dog, not me saving my boyfriend.

Thank you for the dream interpretation. We see each other in Judo classes 3x a week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) so I believe that's helping me get more strength within myself. It's a process.

I have had similar dreams of animals attacking me. I believe dreams mean something. Apparently when an animal is attacking you in your dreams you have enemies and big problems. So it looks like you killed your enemies and or fixed your problem in your dreams.

Yes dreams can have a meaning or message behind them sometimes. It could also be a way how your brain releases all the things you dealt with that day. Sadly I don't dream very often, but when I do sometimes they are weird and silly.
