1.3K opinions shared on Other topic. Reading. I consume books faster than speed eater eats. My reading WPM in 8th grade was 250, last time I tested it, I was hovering around 500. I also have above average retention and comprehension. I tested in the 98th percentile for both retention (what do I remember a year after reading the book) and comprehension. So I read, remember, and understand beyond most people. Also I don't have an eidedic memory, so I can't recall the words directly or anything, but I remember them. I couldn't tell you whether I read them on kindle or paper first, unless I only have it in ebook or paper format. Most things I read for the first time are ebooks now, but I've been reading hardcore since third grade.

The hardest thing for me to give up is something that you cannot touch – time. Time passes quickly, but we do not treasure it. We can control almost everything else in our daily lives, but not time. So, if I can treasure my time more, I may be able to do more things.
