I’m going with “mid” twenties. There are ten years in a decade. Since it’s not evenly divisible by three, ‘early’, ‘mid’ and ‘late’, the debate is naturally going to be where we put that extra year. Since 20s is early in our life expectancy, i’ll gladly put it on the early segment. Problem is that means “early twenties” are 20, 21, 22, 23….. Making 24 solidly mid-twenties. And halfway to 48! Ell oh ell!

I guess 24 would be mid 20s if you categorize it early, mid and late, since it's closer to 25 than 20. But if you only do early and late it would be considered early, since it's closer to 20 than 30.

So it's all about perspectives.

You are still young. I personally consider 24 to be in the mid 20s. But, if you use the rules of rounding, you could say "early".

24 is mid 20's. Mathematically speaking, 20-22 would be early 20's, 23-26 would be mid 20's, and 27-29 would be late 20's. 24 falls in the range of mid 20's.
