I really love giving compliments and recieving as well. I love positive attention. I would randomly compliment people close to me whenever I feel like it.
There is a fact that complimenting or writing gratitude to others makes you a happier person with additional benefits like deeper sleep, stress reduction, calm mood.
I learnt this from my present class teacher. My section is known to be the most notorious section in whole 9 grade and really difficult to handle. We got the most notorious kids here (but they aren't bad, they have a good humor. They don't do anything bad intentionally so I'm proud of my section) and we have the most number of students. Other teachers ask her (my class teacher) how does she handles us? She said she writes gratitude for each student.
