I remember back in NJ a black bear cub was found wandering the streets of where I used to live, in a suburb. This was a 250 pound cub, and it was seen on the block behind mine. Kids going home from school were warned about walking home and encountering it. My thought was, where was Momma bear?
I was only used to seeing deer around, but not bears. However there was a reservation across the highway and I’m guessing that’s where the bear was from.
Countless times.
I was chased by a very large pack of coyotes while scootering my Golden Retriever late one night. There happened to be two security guards step in to help, otherwise it would have been bad. I send thanks out to them every time I remember that.

There are reports of coyotes and a black bear in neighborhoods a few miles from us, but I've never had to deal with a wild animal myself. Only exception would be a copperhead snake that my brother and I killed (with a shovel) when it got too close to wear my young niece was playing.

The largest stuff you can even find where i live, are probably some deer and foxes XD that's it. I heard wolves are back in our ecosystems but never saw one.

No, never. But I have seen bears in our yard, every summer. They come after the bird feeders.
