There was a dog that used to chase me and try to bite me when I was riding my bike on a paper route.
I don't recall any other dog attacks.
I've been bitten and scratched by pet cats over the years. But those weren't attacks. They were my fault.
I've been bitten by alligator lizards when I caught them. They can pinch.
I've been warned by rattle snakes but never attacked.
The one time I was attacked, if you want to call it that, was...
A few years ago I stepped off of my front porch and heard a hiss right behind where I had stepped. I reflexively jumped 10 feet.
When I turned around I saw an adolescent gopher snaked pressed against my bottom step, coiled like a rattle snake in striking mode. I watched as it inhaled, inflating its body, and then exhaled with loud hisses.
I've owned pet snakes and caught wild snakes and never heard one hiss. I wondered what this one's problem was. Then I saw my cat and realized that it had been trying to kill the snake. The snake was terrified.
I went over to pick it up and take it someplace safe, but it wasn't having any of it. Each time I reached out, it struck at my hand. I finally realized that there was only one thing to do.
I crooked the knuckle of my index finger and reached out. The snaked grabbed hold. While it was busy chewing on me, I picked it up. It mellowed out after a moment and I released in a safe place in my garden.
I knew that gopher snakes don't have teeth that are capable of breaking the skin. And they can't bite harder than an alligator lizard.

Yeah. I’ve been bitten by two dogs, and a Canada Goose beat the shit outta me when i was eleven. No joke! They’re bigger than you might think and pretty friggin’ mean! Ell oh ell! I’ve also been bitten by snakes. Nothing poisonous, and it was always my own fault cuz i liked playing with snakes. I like to play fight with cats, but i don’t let them win. So they get pretty ferocious sometimes. When i was young, we had barn swallows that would dive bomb us when we got too close to their nests. They never really made contact, but it’s annoying and mildly intimidating.
As a kid a dog attacked me. It was winter and cold, I had thick clothes on, attack lasted few seconds, so I had just few scratches. However injections against Rabies is a thick oily fluid and it hurts a lot by injection.
Besides a bee and mosquitos 🦟... not that I remember

On a regular basis, more or less:
Just recently: a baby cat in panic when I ''rescued'' it out of a tree with my two very agitated dogs trying to climb the same tree.
Earlier: a macaque monkey that thought I want to steal its apple; where I only tried to get it out of my porch.
Earlier: a one inch fish trying to skin me alive when I was bathing in the pond nearby.
Earlier: the son of my ex-boss, following his Daddy's orders after I discovered that they embezzled investors' money.
my neighbor had a pit bull. He chose to bite me. Rather than yanking my arm out of his mouth because i could not, I shoved it further and further back into his jaw. Snapping his lower jaw. I had the dog put down. I dont care if you own dogs, If it feels the need to come on my property, and cause me harm, it WILL die. Thankfully it was the only instance where this happened. Most of the dogs in my neighborhood are uber friendly. The neighbor tried to sue me, But it turns out that they had a pit bull without proper insurance, or a license. So they lost badly. My town takes a dim view of dog attacks.
Yeah a duck in Cali big mama swan got me me slipping when I was 4 in California, I was at the pond feeding ducks with bread I guess I was to close to her eggs or something
And she ran at me and bit my hand and was dragging me into the water. My mom came in hitting it but it would not let go then a dude came and socked the shit out of it and it finally let go lol
Today I got a deep unconscious hate for ducks. I was told when I blacked out drunk once at Bass Lake when I lived in Northern Central Cali, that's it's on sight with ducks cause I kept saying "fuck a duck" and was beefing with them at the lake. So it must be something deep rooted hahahaha.
There was a bird that put its nest in a tree right o. The sidewalk I had to go by to get to my apartment.
every time I forgot to just walk around that part of the sidewalk it would circle me and chirp in my ear until I got far away enough.
I’ve never actually been attacked though, luckily.
My aunts blind dog I was trying to feed it some cheese as a treat and it completely nom'd my finger instead XD. thankfully it didn't have much of its teeth left XD. So it was more like a SUPER slobbery wet nom. But it had the pressure of a full on bite so it was more like alarming.
I was bit in the face by a Great Dane when I was 9. Fucking thing bit a kid the day before too. This was early 80's so euthanizing dogs that bit people wasn't really a thing. My mother (God rest her soul) raised holy hell to make sure that mutt got gassed.
Used to be this cat that would be in my bCk yard when I got home from school. One day it looked all disheveled and scared so I tried to pet it. Started scratching the shit out of me but I just slowly kept getting closer and eventually I think it trusted me.
I became that things best friend after school lol woulda been cool only I really don't like cats.
I’m wondering what the odds are if a whitetail buck charging an unarmed human. Those antlers look a whole lot different up close vs through a scope
In Myrtle Beach swimming in the ocean I felt somewhat between my legs and jumped it was a baby crab very small but it got into my shorts and pinched my ball sack. I went running out of the ocean my family was laughing.
It was small enough that it didn’t cut my ballsack just felt this pinching. Wife thought it was hilarious took a picture of it. It was in 2008 no I don’t have the photo.
I got harassed by a chicken once. It chased me around.
Not attacked, but my husband's dog bit me. I'd have euthanized him, but my husband won't agree.
Fortunately not. Insects are the only critters that have bitten me. My uncle's ex wife had a VICIOUS chihuahua though. It lunged at me a few times and bit one of my young cousins. I wanted to kick it. 😭
Yeah, one dog that had shit owners that didn't correct them and train them properly. Dog bit my leg and I reported it. Evidently that wasn't the first time the dog lashed out and it got put down.
The closest I have come to being attacked by anything was dogs and geese. But the dogs were always tied or chained or under amazing training. And the geese were just jerks that didn’t like anyone getting too close.
Not really but at age 6 months old in a stroller with my mom pushing me this Golden Retriever jumped on my stroller and to this day I have a fear of dogs my mom was pushing me in Chess Street Park.
Yeah, my previous cat lmao
He acted like a possessive boyfriend over me 😂Yeah, I got attacked by a couple dogs when I was a child. I think at this point my mind has kind of blocked it out a little, but I used to be hella scared of dogs when I was younger. I'm a little less so now, though I still feel hella uncomfortable if I see a large leashless dog
A dog Tried to Hump me When I Was naked and on the couch one time at a boyfriends house I ended up Punching his dog in his Face.
I have never and have only been scared of animals a few times in my life. Unleashed dogs angrily barking at me.
Not really, sometimes I will pay around with my dog and she could get overexcited and accidentally bite me, but usually not.
Dogs grab things with their mouth, so biting is different than her grabbing my arm.
