Ever been attacked by a dog?

This is the second time this fucker bit me lol. My girlfriend got a Shiba Inu Pitbull mix. For whatever reason, it is extremely aggressive. The dog particularly hates men. Weirdly enough, up unto this point it DID like me. Keyword DID, in the past. It would lick my face, cuddle up, literally sleep beside me, lean on me, etc.

It’s orange and white, same color scheme as a Shiba, but got the pitbull face and ears. He’s about 60 pounds so not huge.

The first time he bit me was my fault. He was getting over stimulated when playing, I didn’t recognize it, he bit me in the arm, cut me open and shit. I didn’t react or hit him at all. I cleaned myself up and he was fine.

Second time, it was completely unprovoked. I was petting him, he licked my face, I kissed his nose, and without growling or any warning, bit me in my face twice, second bite he latched. It kinda sliced because I pushed him off while he was latched. My jaw is pretty swollen but I don't know if you can see in the pic. After I pushed him off, he lunged again, and I punched the living fuck out him in the head with a right hook. He definitely felt it. I probably hit him too hard, I’m a 6’3 250 pound ex boxer. But my thumb is actually cut pretty bad too from him.

Bitten/snapped a few times by various dogs, nothing too drastic. Had to throw two of them onto their backs to show them who is boss (no education from their female dog owners).

I would never allow a dog to get close to my face for multiple reasons.

Yes. I was walking on the street, and a dog just came running at me, barking, and almost bit me. I managed to evade it. Then he turned around and went for another attack. I'm not proud of this, but I kicked the dog. It ran off.

Oh yeah, the owner didn't do anything to try to stop the dog. Ha was sitting on the bench. Apparently, this was common with this owner/dog combo.

When I was little my neighbors rescue dog busted out of the screen door & I ran like hell & that joker bit me on the ass. Ouch!

Lmao I had that happen, it wasn’t a serious bite though. I had two rottweilers, one was about 150 and one was 110. Bigger one bit me in the ass.

I will always remember that dog & it was a little dog that was abused & my neighbors rescued the dog from a shelter & he didn’t like kids. I bet I still have teeth marks. I had a fear of dogs after that & I got over that fear when my older sister bought a Dalmatian & he became my buddy.
