Has a dog ever jumped on you?

It happened to me not too long ago (it was probably 2 or 3 years ago, I don't remember, but I don't consider that a long time ago). I was in one of the dorm buildings at my college. I was in an elevator with 3 or 4 other people if I remember correctly and just one person had a dog with her. Her dog jumped on me and licked my face. I know many dogs are friendly creatures and don't mean any harm so I wasn't scared. I was just surprised.

I have and I have actually been around several high content wolfdogs that jumped on people. But it was because they pretty much demanded your attention and affection. But I can still see why it would have scared some people. Given that they where over 70 ponds and tall dogs in general.

the dog was a happy camper I was raised around dogs so that would not bother me, but I know how to make them not jump so it doesn't happen unless I let it as far as not having a dog jump on you is to bend over to their level and put your hand on the top of their head and just pet them then they will calm down

Yeah and it's annoying AF, especially when it's a big dog. I don't mind a well behaved dog doing it gently every now and then, but most people whose dogs do that have no control over it and just let it go crazy.

A buddy of mine had a big dog that was really well behaved usually. But when he was (very) happy to see you, he would not just beat you up with his tail, but also stand up and ram his front paws into your chest. He almost knocked me over once. :-o

and I live at a crowded place too, so dogs are everywhere

and it's nice when they do, I grew up around dogs as well so it does not bother me, I am used to it

Yes. When I was 7 ish I had chocolate ice cream all over my face, my aunt's puppy jumped up on me. Used teeth instead of his tongue. That sucked but I still love dogs

When I was like a small baby in a stroller, my mom was walking me in our City Park and this Golden Retriever jumped on my stroller, to this day I have a fear of dogs at times

Yep, everytime I go to friends with dogs, they always jump up at me when I come in.

All dogs should be kneed gently in the chest when they do that. It's not a bad thing, and it doesn't hurt them, but it will scare some people.

The only dog which jumps up to me, are the dogs we do have at home. But i just don't like it when they jump to me. They can make my outfit a mess.
