Does hand sanitizer still kill germs (covid especially) months after it expires?

I doubt it would be as effective. “Rubbing alcohol expires because isopropanol evaporates when exposed to the air, while the water remains.” Water in itself does not have the ability to kill bacteria and so it would not be effective.

I reckon it always murders some bacteria and sometimes other living souls. That’s why I say no to hand sanitiser. I’m against killing.

I can't tell if you're being serious or not, but are you ok with the risk of getting sick and possibly dying? You might not like killing, but germs and bacteria couldn't care less about you.

I use my old friends, dihydrogen monoxide and immunity system. I also don’t get as many bacteria on myself as many. I am what I nosh, and I nosh fruits, the cleanest most-vibrant foods. They make my immune system quite high. Hand sanitiser still leaves 0.1% of germs on the hands, and even one-thousandth of the hundreds of millions of bacteria is still a lot.
