Does my deck I built look good?

So the past 5 month I have been busting me ass and threw 30 K at this project. From the very start my house had a skimpy 35 year old small deck (rotting) on it that was small and you could not even fit a table on it. I ordered an excavator and my good friend Richi was the pilot rented a 5.5 ton'er and we dug it out. From concrete to rebar, forms and epoxy rock rebar bonding you name it... I did it all. 5 months... About to order some nice red colored metal roofing panels for the out side under deck storage. I don't even have drawing I'm just going off what I learned from helping builders for the summer for free.. My got you tag around the right people they can teach you so much in life on how to built stuff and how that is up to building code. ... Deck it now 12 ft x 28 feet with stairs on both side of house and now has both ways going down to water.

Pipe welder/pipeline. So yeah I do have some work with builders and such mechanically inclined i suppose... I think when people work with their hands they develop a intuitive knowledge on common sense and how things should be built like if you were a building inspector would you like to see the bare minimum or the builder who went above and beyond what was required? I use to do nuclear pipe welding and I was told TO NEVER give a welding inspector a reason to question the weld on how it looked always make it look the best of your ability. It's like police when they pull you over you act cool and you got nothing to hide everything is fine!. They call tell if you got drugs or a dead body in the trunk they can usually tell by how you act then you are fucked...

That's what I was thinking I helped my friends family with renovating their old down town house into a student housing rooms. As they were home builders as well. I stuck with them and helped because the knowledge I got from them would surly come in handy when I had my own place. It was not easy and sometimes depressing when I woke up in the morning to see how much work I had left to do!!! So much... It's like trying to eat a whale one bite at a time... Eventually you will eat it, just it will take a bit longer. keep chipping and one thing I did not do it was take short cuts. This deck and storage will last longer than me and if I need a safe place to hunger into this deck will that just that.

Oh yeah it's good trust me. lol 3 ply 2x8 spanning the 28 ft length from 2 ft off overhang with 5 cemented belled Cones / w rebar and another 28 footer 3 ply 2x8 sitting on 3 cinder block columns cemented / rebar and on end just a 5x5 post epoxy anchored to shoring foundation I did not put the 3 ply beam under the ledger board so I kept the beam under the Deck joist ends to support the length and ledger board. The Floor joists on the house are only singe even on the end where the deck is 2x8's @강지영앟_@ so sistering a 2x10 ledger board to it with all that weight was asking for the single 2x8 floor joist on my house to rip right off. So I kept the last decks pre existing cinder block supports but beefed them up. Find out how it holds up with the winter snow and weight. I have a laser level marked out for summer and settling measurements to take after winter to see how things have shifted etc...
