If I had the means, I'd modify this house to a great extent, but yes, I do love the basic bones of this place.
It reminds me very much of a cabin that my buddies and I had access to where we could party for weeks at a time as we desired, as preteens through young adulthood.
Many great times were experienced there.

Such log houses are common is Scandinavia. I spend few days in such a house 100m away of Atlantic coast in Norway while storm of 100-130km/h outside. This type of house is stable like bunkers.
