You might still know less than the number of fingers you have on one hand people you went to high school with after 10 years or so, and that’s if you’re lucky and work hard to maintain the connections. That being the case, what they think of you while you’re basically in jail for children doesn’t matter because once you’re out they’re gone. Believe it or not a lot fewer people are having sex than most teens believe. You don’t have to be the one that gives it up for attention, because one way or another you will regret it. It’s better to wait for someone who actually loves you then too go to fast for someone who loves attention. You’re old for a hell of a lot longer than your young, so enjoy it while the getting is good. Enjoy being able to stand up without creeks and pans, because it’s coming. You’re in the best shape of your life, with the greatest amount of energy you will ever have in your life, do some thing with it that doesn’t involve a screen! And beware your thoughts, they become your words. Beware your words they become your actions. Beware your actions, they become your future. If you’re in a first world western country, check out all of the things that your school has to offer that only the nerdy kids of the band kids of the art geeks or the goths go to. You will be shocked how fun and worthwhile the things that the good kids go to are. You may find this shocking coming from a teacher, but you don’t have to go to college. In fact, odds are that if you go into a trade or a government job instead, you’ll probably make more money and have a more secure retirement. It’s never too early to put away money for future problems. Financial stability is something that a responsible future partner looks for in a man or a woman. being a hoe is only attractive to Chads, who don’t love you as a person they love you as a cheaply and easily accessible vagina. You don’t have to rush into anything physical or social or emotional just to please people do you aren’t going to know in a few years. You have to do what makes you happy, because at the end of the day they don’t actually care about you.

A lot of the things you feel are important right now, won't always be. Priorities change as you grow, as you mature as a person.

Don't be in too big a rush to "be an adult", because it's much harder than being a teenager. Try to enjoy just being you as you are and having those around you. Life is what happens when you're busy doing other things, so it's important to enjoy them when you can.

Some work advice - don’t be afraid to try new things, a complete career change even, if you’re not happy in what you’re doing. Some people know what they want to do from a very young age, but many have to find what is right for them and what makes them happy, so don’t be afraid to try different things if you need to. The good thing about this also is that you will learn so much, gain so much varied experience and meet all sorts of different people too - so if a particular job or career isn’t working out for you, give something else a try. Remember this: “There’s no such thing as a quitter. To quit something, you must have tried it first. You are a trier, not a quitter!” 😉

Question EVERYTHING. Question everything your teacher tells you, question everything your government tells you but most importantly, question everything the media tells you. Even question what your parents tell you, at times, just don't be an asshole about it. In today's world you literally can't believe anything you hear and unfortunately, the people you are supposed to trust, are the ones that do the most lying.

Slow down doing everything. Listen more than talk less take a moment each day to really think about everything. set your alarm to snooze for 5 minutes and take those 5 minutes to slowly wake up gently to set your mood of the day!

Do not allow your parents to crush your hopes on getting your dream job. If I actually listened to my father telling me my job isn't meant for men and that it was a job for 'nancy boys' (His exact words), I wouldn't be happy.

High school never ends. People just hide their immaturity better when they're older.

For girls, do not get pregnant. For all don't screw up education. If you go in the military get sound advice first!

Do not be afraid to try, test yourself. You can do more than you believe you can. Trust your instincts. Life is short, live it fully.
