Depends on the hotel, maybe a 5star luxury hotel with a lot of goodies being included is worth that price.

However it shouldn't be that difficult to find a hotel for half the price or even cheaper.

Depends on the hotel and location, if it's a 5 star hotel located in the center of town, that's probably about right, especially in these Post-Covid days of rampant inflation.

Depends on which country in Europe. 700 in Paris for example is reasonable and kinda average, 700 in another country would get you a suite at a top hotel.

Yes if it just involves the hotel itself then 100% because even if it´s a short-term booking where you booked something only days before you wanna be there that sounds too expensive.

Nope. It all depends what, and where.

You can expect to pay top dollar for The Ritz or Hilton. But not for a 2 star.
