Push your friend inside at the spider and run.

@MCheetah Well, in a way yes. But I don't think it was his twin though. It's a messed up movie, during the film you can see him seeing an individual walking along a corridor with spider-ish creature clinging to his face in his dreams. And witnessing a geometrically-twisted high building on the streets. Then this spider shows up immediately after his wife enters the room with her vanishing and the spider remains at the ending. Those weren't twins at all, they were identical, even every incident that occurred to them in life / body scars they got when they got injured are identical.
The movie is a metaphor I believe, with the giant spider being the "twin's" wife / his brain for deceiving him to sell out his original wife over her. It's quite an intriguing movie to say the least, that is based on a novel named The Duplicate. So yep!

You are talking about a little spider, and it certainly can't do even a quarter mile in 10 hours. A giant spider with legs as long as 8 feet would have quite a stride, like maybe 30 miles per hour. You could not outrun it and it could lasso you with it's silk.

Spiders scare the crap out of me. They are fourth on the list after bees, shots, and snakes in that order. I only deal with them because somewhere in the fine print of my wedding vows and my kids' birth certificates there's something that says I am responsible for killing or otherwise dispatching all spiders at any time of day. Usually in the middle of the night in winter for the kid who wants the spider saved and deposited on the deck in the snow. 🤦‍♂️
